Naturally, the world of bodybuilding is seriously focused on a discourse and a myth, that of androgen hormones and testosterone levels in particular. No one is simple-minded enough to believe that it is possible to achieve such massive and lean physiques without the question of doping being raised. Professionals, amateurs, or simple bodybuilding practitioners know perfectly well that the testosterone plays a major role in gaining strength and muscle mass. Obviously, it is not the only one to do so, but it must first be bioavailable, that is to say free. Obviously, this hormone, testosterone, is often considered the number one element in building muscle for a physique…

While other factors come into play when it comes to skeletal muscle fiber hypertrophy, scientific research has uncovered several mechanisms that lead us to believe that testosterone is at the center of this principle. This hormone is involved in complex and multiple processes; leading people to believe, often mistakenly, that nothing is possible without this hormonal factor. Indeed, this androgen plays an important role in muscle growth But it is not the only one. However, the potential for muscle stimulation exerted by this hormone is significant and has been verified by scientific research for many years.

Testosterone is a hormone linked to muscle growth

Testosterone fuels all the fantasies of the average practitioner, but it also fuels the sports nutrition market with promises and nutrients that have little to do with scientifically proven biological reality. Today, an incalculable number of testosterone “boosters” are present on the market. Most often based on Tribulus terrestris , Maca, Ginseng or other plants without a direct link to the metabolism of this hormone, these “boosters” are not based on any serious scientific findings. These food supplements poorly formulated also fuel the hopes of bodybuilding practitioners with the associated doping risks. In fact, these formulations are more likely to make you lose money instead of gaining more muscle. The sports nutrition market is full of all sorts of nonsense on this subject, but ultimately nothing very serious. So, aside from risking your health for peanuts, is there a healthy, legal, and simple way to promote the release and function of androgens like testosterone in bodybuilding practitioners?

Can you really benefit from testosterone levels that boost strength and hypertrophy in a healthy, natural way?

Although it may seem hard to believe if not-so-natural athletes spend time telling you otherwise, it is still possible to achieve normal, healthy testosterone levels that help you gain muscle and strength , without resorting to doping and potentially dangerous products. It is a question here of understanding that the total quantity of testosterone is not a sufficient indicator of its effectiveness. Indeed, certain proteins such as SHBG (put for Sex Hormone Binding Globulin ) binds to testosterone in the blood, rendering it inactive. In fact, the rate of testosterone bound to this protein is 98%. This means that only 2% of the hormone is considered active. You might think that 2% of a total of 800ng/dl of testosterone matters more than 2% of 500ng/dl, and you would be—partially—right. In reality, if total free testosterone can be increased, both biological factors (total and free hormone) should ideally be improved. There are several completely natural solutions for this.

Some little-known plant substances affect the link between testosterone and SHBG

Testosterone is mostly bound to SHBG, but we know that some plant substances (and completely legal ones) can also bind to SHBG. As a result, some of this globulin will no longer be able to bind to the hormone and therefore, the level of free testosterone could increase. Nettle lignans ( Secoisolariciresinol ) can play this role as found by scientific research. More free and active testosterone also means more muscle growth in the medium term.

It is also likely that the lignans in nettle root block the conversion of testosterone to estradiol (17-beta-estradiol) as current scientific research indicates. For this purpose, nettle root is commonly combined with Sabal, a plant also known as Saw Palmetto or Saw Palmetto in English. Saw Palmetto actually contains plant components whose mechanism of action is similar to that of nettle. By combining these two plants, the inhibition of aromatization (conversion) of testosterone is sought. From a general point of view, it is quite interesting to see how certain plants can positively affect natural testosterone levels. With the support of scientific research, we based the Virilis V2 formula on these two plants. We then added patented Ashwagandha (KSM-66) for its cortisol-lowering and testosterone-increasing effects, which have also been the subject of scientific studies.

Magnesium, zinc and vitamin D complete the nutritional intake essential for healthy release of the male hormone

While the combination of three plants known for their effects on testosterone metabolism is a decisive step forward for the athletes who trust us, it is obvious that your body first needs to receive the nutrients essential to its functioning. We have therefore added mag nesium  bisglycinate with the Virilis V2 formula. THE magnesium contributes to multiple body functions. This essential mineral is also responsible for the antioxidant activity that protects the gonads that produce androgen hormones, including testosterone. Zinc is a trace mineral that has been shown to influence testosterone release. Scientific experiments have also linked zinc to the level of free testosterone in the body. Scientifically, it's pretty clear that magnesium and zinc are two essential elements for bodybuilders who want to optimize their natural testosterone levels.

Virilis V2 proves to you that natural and endogenous testosterone is the best ally for bodybuilding

With this formula, Virilis V2 has been developed on a synergy of effects of each associated element, so that each athlete really benefits from an optimal level of natural, bioavailable and effective testosterone. YAM Nutrition now offers you not a booster but a supplement that potentiates the effects of your bodybuilding workouts. You will obtain many positive consequences on the body, depending on a healthy release of the male hormone . Indeed, Virilis V2 is based on what scientific research brings us, without Tribulus terrestris and other fantasies of no interest, except that of making you lose money. Obviously, it is not a doping product but the positive effects will accumulate over time, as any good formula should. We especially hope that our supplement will help you to stimulate the muscle growth naturally, like the other natural products in the YAM Nutrition range.
